“I know you wait for me / at a place I am always seeking. / You are as real as the changelings / in my favorite books, have the tenderness / of the sea on a calm day, and all / the patience of the long invisible.” ~ Linda Pastan In an Unaddressed Envelope

As the seasons change, and the air becomes chilled with the bones of harvesting, it is a good time to take a step back and revisit ourselves. This is an important time to remember what guidance has brought us here. The small voices in our heads produce such a shattering echo. These voices are the ones that found us in a quiet corner of a loud world. They could be familiar, soft as a mother’s hum, or as wild as the sound of trees. Whatever stirred these voices towards our small, dark chambers in not important. As the landscape is woven into gold, it is a good time to reflect on these voices with a calm vibration.

The sweet lamb is completely unencumbered by the dangerous swords that loom so close, almost whispering the strength in their flowing edges. Instead of being perturbed, the precious little lamb channels her vision inward to her third eye, to that space where she can find her higher perceptions. No longer is she the lamb led to slaughter. Now she dwells fully in her space, righteous in her redemption. The swords may hang above, but she wields the more dangerous weapon.

This subduing of the nagging ego will serve well as we take on the serious task of following our true path. We are beseeched by the voices and guides that have watched over us, tracking each move. As we start to listen more deeply to those ancient councils, our mental space will be more open. The tree does not need hands to extend the invitation of the sweet souls that dwell in these branched heavens.

The goal for this week should try to be achieving a connection to the guides. This does not have to be a physical conversation, although it could. Much has been lost in the way of words. The goal is about achieving a revelation, a lyric that has been spoken internally is now drawn out to full poetry. This beautiful symphony of wisdom is now a heartbeat, a rhythmic engagement in the core. This pulse connects you more deeply to what has followed you like a gray shadow, showing you the direction of the sun.

In the shadows, these energies can lead to some heavy extremes. On one hand, the experience of this connection can be so rewarding that it becomes hard to process voice from others, from those not in our head or tribe. This connection can lead to arrogance or defiance. It is important to remember that balance between yourself and what is around you. It is all important to remember that this process can be hard. But the moment when you feel like shutting all those voices in the dark is when you need to listen to them most.

The Dark Moon is here and in Virgo. Pay attention to the details, the soft love given this week from your guides. Now is the time to start looking towards new potentials. In a world of constant buzzing, but no words, it is important to take some time to find stillness, to find the foundation of those who have helped get you here. What do your spirit guides look like? This is the week to pay attention. Everything is moving forward, and if we do not heed the lessons, many things will be forgotten or lost.
